Kiteroa – around the homestead
Between the entrance gate and the homestead is the woolshed.
There live a lot of animals around the woolshed.
Inside the woolshed it is a bit of a mess. There are some very basic kitchen facilities and showers etc. But it’s large. And it’s dry!
Well. First the decks and the garden. On the side of the road is a sundeck. On the picture it rains at the sundeck.
The house has a U-shape. Inside the U is another deck, with a cover. This is also the back-entrance to the house, where you enter with dirty boots. Drive beside the house and drop your gumboots here!
Behind the house is the garden, with some sheds. The back of the house reminds me a bit of the garden at the old house of Wilma’s mother. But there are no buildings around it. Just trees! And it’s much wider!
View downhill (beside the homestead). In the valley you see the pine trees. That’s where the terrain ends.
Behind the homestead more animals: sheep and cattle. A hayshed.
